 On Sunday, October 5, 2008, the Bear Spot Foundation hosted Freestyle 2008 at Bear Spot Farm in Concord, MA — once again, a huge success! The highlight of this event was again the FEI-level Musical Freestyle with dressage rides performed by national and international horse and rider combinations. (View online at DressageClinic.com!) In addition, Betsy Steiner and her daughter, Jessie, performed a Pas de Deux. (We were delighted to receive this note from Betsy following Freestyle 2008: "Thank you so much for including us in your program - what a wonderful event! Jes and I both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and were honored to be included in your wonderful program. Congratulations on your successful event! Warm regards, Betsy") We welcomed Paige Finnegan, Sue Jaccoma, Nancy Later, Dottie Morkis, and Tanya Rennie as riders. Kathy Hickerson, from Majestic Gaits Farm, brought horses from her breeding program. Hors d'oeuvres and High Tea were served at noon.
